Former EAA President Tom Poberezny hasn’t been to AirVenture since he retired four years ago, but thanks to an invitation from Cirrus Aircraft he spent Monday roaming the grounds in Red Three, the chopped-top Volkswagen he used when he was still in charge. He took AVweb’s Russ Niles along for a ride on a windy day at the big show.
