  1. Russ–we will be taking our motor home again this year, as we go there for a week. Even though we only live 250 miles away and own an FBO, we have a nice place to stay–and don’t have to worry about muddy takedown areas, weather, arrival/departure delays, etc.

I write for several regional aviation magazines, so I “work” the show (for the magazines AND for myself) and can file stories from the motor home.

  2. Rockford 1964, first time in an airplane I built. 1970 first Oshkosh and every one since. 2024 with my Wittman Tailwind will be the 60th anniversary attending with an airplane I built. Several different homebuilts, some that I built, some built by others. Glasair, Pitts, Cassutt etc.

  3. I have flown in 7 or 8 times. The last 2 times I had VERY close calls with pilots not following the rules for the arrival procedures. I was single pilot both times. Veryworrisom.. will be back this year with Sportair USA.

  4. Flown my homebuilts in from California 3 times. Would like to fly in again some day but the airplane building days are over.
