Peter Ring Peter Ring has been appointed by Avidyne as an inside sales representative, looking after the company’s client base in the Northeast and Southeast. His sales background is in the automotive field but hes a pilot with a tailwheel endorsement.

Hawker Beechcraft has beefed up its sales team in the Middle East and Asia. Dan Keady will head up the division. Jason Liao has been appointed as regional vice president for China and S.E. Asia, while Jeff Anastas, Allan Stanton and Brett Carlson are regional sales directors for India, Africa, Middle East and Australia, respectively.

Kyle Farley has joined Aspen Avionics as vice president of manufacturing. He came from S-Tec, where he was vice president of manufacturing operations.

Steve Zacks Steve Zacks has been promoted to Executive Vice President of Marketing and Chief Marketing Officer for NetJets in the U.S. NetJets CEO Richard Santulli said Zacks earned the promotion through seven years of “strategic thought leadership” at NetJets.

NOAA Robert Maxson has come out of retirement to head the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Aviation Weather Center. Maxson retired as head of NOAA’s aircraft operations in 2005 and, in the interim, flew as a research pilot for the National Science Foundation in Boulder, Colo.

Former Eclipse Aviation Communications Director Andrew Broom has taken a similar position at Hawker Beechcraft. Rick Adam Adam Aircraft founder Rick Adam has co-founded a new composites design and fabrication company called AdamWorks. The company will design and build composite products for the aerospace, automotive, commercial and even home dcor sectors. Joining Adam are Joe Wilding and Kim Burquest, who will be the company president.
