Bose Announces A New In-Ear Headset
As Sun n Fun opens Tuesday, Bose announced a new noise-cancelling in-ear headset called the ProFlight Aviation Headset. The new product, Boses first aviation headset since the A20 was introduced in 2010, is aimed at the cabin class and turbine market, whose cockpits have lower noise levels.

The ProFlight is priced at $995.95 and is expected to be available by the end of May 2018. The headset has three levels of noise cancellation, each easily settable by simply tapping the ear pieces. Like the A20, the ProFlight has Bluetooth capability, allowing the user to pair a smartphone for either music or phone calls. It has a lightweight headband with independent earbuds that Bose says are comfortable enough to wear for hours. The ProFlight weighs 4.9 ounces.
