“It never rains in southern California,” or so goes the song. Yet, attendees at this year’s Heli-Expo in Anaheim would disagree with that statement. While poor weather may have kept down attendance, it did nothing to dampen enthusiasm among the thousands of attendees of braved the elements. The annual rotorcraft blowout attracted the best and brightest to check out the latest offerings from industry participants. In addition to new airframes and new avionics and in contrast to the weather outside the Anaheim Convention Center, industry leaders say the future looks bright.
