Precision Support Services announced that Hélicoptères Guimbal has been awarded the top rating for customer satisfaction in Vertical Magazine’s annual survey. McMinnville, Oregon-based Precision Support is the North American support provider and sole U.S. distributor for France-based Guimbal, which manufactures the piston-powered G2 light helicopter.

In the wind-down from the global COVID-19 pandemic, Precision and Guimbal both maintain they have been committed to reinstating in-person customer support and training opportunities. The company wrote, “In addition to visiting many of our U.S. operators in person to learn more about how we can support them and their aircraft.”

Sarah Brazel, Precision’s Manager for Guimbal Sales and Support, said, “We believe that being the best for our customers is more than just delivering a high quality, safe, and reliable product—it is being available to support them with the factory quality training to aid in the practical side of operations and maintenance.”

Upgrades to the Cabri G2 over the past couple years include adding Garmin avionics, air conditioning and smaller improvements such as an infrared-blocking windshield, sensor improvements and upgrades to commonly replaced parts. Precision and Guimbal partnered in 2014 to bring the Cabri G2 to North America. Precision maintains a stock of spare parts and full-time team in Oregon to provide parts fulfillment, service and around-the-clock AOG support.
