WACO Aircraft Corporation has been acquired by Florida-based Dimor Group Inc. The acquisition also includes WACO's FBO and Part 145 maintenance facility, Centennial Aircraft Services, which is located at Michigan's W. K. Kellogg Regional Airport (KBTL). According to WACO, Centennial will continue to provide maintenance, restoration and spare parts supply for its aircraft. Dimor says it plans to support current WACO aircraft and expand into reproducing other classic aircraft models.
"We are very pleased with the acquisition of WACO by Dimor Group Inc., and we firmly believe they will be a good steward of the WACO tradition and brand," said WACO President Peter Bowers. "We are looking forward to working together to build a great future for the company." Bowers will be staying in his position at WACO.
