Kate OConnor Joins AVweb Team
Just in time to join AVwebs firehose coverage of Sun n Fun, aviation journalist Kate OConnor is now a member of the AVweb news team. A 2009 graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical Universitys professional pilot program, OConnor comes to AVweb from a stint as an associate editor at Plane and Pilot magazine, where she wrote and edited features on aviation and technology topics.She also brings to our staff a rich experience in science fiction writing and editing for Abyss & Apex and she has been a guest lecturer in academic writing at the College of New Jersey. At AVweb, OConnor will be taking on news, feature and multi-media assignments across a range of aviation topics. If you see her on either side of the camera at Lakeland, be sure to say hello.
