AVweb's weekly search of the news in the world of aviation turned up new leadership roles at Honeywell Aerospace, Key Air, the board of Aero Electric Aircraft Corp. and the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems. Honeywell Aerospace has appointed Justin Ryan president of BendixKing, effective January 2015. Ryan will lead the Albuquerque, New Mexico-based Honeywell business as it continues its legacy of delivering innovative, reliable and intuitive avionics to the light aircraft and pilot community. Ryan has over 26 years of civilian and military pilot experience, including missions in support of Operation Desert Storm as a Naval Aviator flying the A-6E Intruder and eight years leading strategic growth initiatives within Honeywell.Key Air, a leading national provider of best-in-class aircraft management and worldwide executive jet charter services, announced the return of its founder, Alan DePeters, to the position of President and Chief Executive Officer.DePeters, who founded the company in February 1986 along with two of his business partners, served as Key Air's first president.

Craig Fuller, former President and CEO of AOPA, has joined the Board of Directors of Aero Electric Aircraft Corp. Fuller, Chairman of the Fuller Company, a strategic consulting group, remains active in aviation policy matters and was recently appointed to the FAA's Management Advisory Council. In addition, he serves as a director of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, where he is a member of the Executive Committee, and is Chairman of Redbird Flight Simulations. Brian Wynne has been named President and CEO of the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International, succeeding the retiring Michael Toscano on Jan. 12, 2015. Wynne is currently president of the Electric Drive Transportation Association, a post he has held since April 2004. The organization promotes battery, hybrid, plug-in hybrid and fuel cell electric vehicles and infrastructure.
