Overheard in IFR Magazine‘s “On the Air” A few years ago I flew a T-34 into Orlando Executive. Our flight leader called tower 15 miles out: Flight Leader:“… flight of 19 warbirds for the initial, overhead for landing.” Tower:“All civilian aircraft stay out of the area ’til further instructed.” Confusion reigned.
