Embraer reported record second-quarter revenue of about $2.2 billion Monday, a 23% increase from the same period last year. The Brazilian manufacturer delivered 65 aircraft during the quarter, its strongest second-quarter delivery total in 16 years, and reported adjusted net income of $218.6 million.
Executive Jet Deliveries Increase
“We delivered the strongest second quarter revenue in our history,” Embraer President and CEO Francisco Gomes Neto said during the company’s earnings call Monday.
Executive Aviation accounted for 45 of the aircraft delivered during the quarter, up from 38 during the same period last year. The division generated $725 million in revenue, an increase of 32% year over year. Commercial Aviation delivered another 20 aircraft.
Backlog and Outlook
Embraer’s total firm-order backlog reached $34.5 billion at the end of the quarter, its seventh consecutive quarterly record and a 16% increase from a year earlier. Executive Aviation accounted for $7.8 billion of the backlog, while Commercial Aviation accounted for $15.1 billion. Embraer maintained its 2026 delivery forecasts of 160 to 170 executive jets and 80 to 85 commercial aircraft but raised its profitability and cash-flow guidance.
“We are also increasing our adjusted free cash flow guidance to $400 million or higher,” Chief Financial Officer Felipe Santana said during the earnings call.
Embraer previously forecast at least $200 million in adjusted free cash flow and also increased its adjusted EBIT margin forecast to between 10% and 10.6%, up from 8.7% to 9.3%.
