Key Takeaways:

Textron Aviation has announced that its 180,000-square-foot parts distribution center expansion is on schedule to be completed by the end of the year. Located at the company’s site in Wichita, Kansas, the facility houses more than 120,000 parts for Cessna, Beechcraft and Hawker aircraft. The expansion will include additional parts storage, warehouse space, offices and room for customer support analysts.

“Progress continues on schedule for Textron Aviation’s parts and distribution expansion in Wichita, Kansas,” Textron Aviation said. “This major growth in the company’s parts distribution operations will better support customers who own and operate aircraft manufactured by Textron Aviation.”

As previously reported by AVweb, Textron broke ground on the project in October 2022. Built by CONCO Construction, the expansion was designed by Professional Engineering Consultants and GLMV Architecture. The Wichita facility is one of seven distribution centers and 17 stockrooms Textron Aviation operates globally.
