Retired United pilot Tom Lowe dropped in to wait out some weather at Associated Air in Lansing, Illinois. When asked what the wildest flight was in his career, he shrugged his shoulders and said he couldn’t really think of anything. Pretty cool.

Alvord Desert, Steens Mountain
I took this picture with my Nikon D50 after landing on the Alvord Desert dry lake bed to enjoy the hot springs there. Steens Mountain still had some snow on it and made for a nice backdrop. Beautiful day!
