I was visiting a friend in Mexico at his lovely house in Valle de Bravo and as he and I are both pilots we had an interest in going to the Paragliding (Parapente in Spanish) World Cup Superfinals on January 12-23, 2016. We were perched on the top of the hill where the contestants ran a short distance and took off—they then proceeded to climb up to about 12,000 MSL and went approximately 60 miles away.
