Sunset Start
Taken just before starting the engines for another long night flight. I was already seated when I saw the reflection of the sun on the blades and had to leave the CP and go out to take a picture. The picture was taken using my iPhone, so there is visible grain, which gives it, in my humble opinion, an interesting feel. Other then removing the heli’s registration [number], nothing was changed.

Busy Ramp at Lebanon/Warren County Airport, Ohio (I68)

Sikorsky Raider Full-Size Mock-Up
Photo of Sikorsky’s Raider concept mockup. It was next to their X2, which broke the 250-kt. helicopter speed record. Salmon Fishing in Alaska
Popular salmon fishing strip about 100 miles west of Anchorage. 700 feet long. Several Super Cubs, two PA-12s, and one straight-tail C-172 on big tires. Better fishing spot was a half mile away, but only 300 feet [of it were] usable. Two Super Cubs there. My brother said flying in Alaska is not the same as the lower 48, and now I believe him.
