Three F-16s depart Des Moines International Airport. The third aircraft held it on the deck ’til the end, where he yanked back on the stick and launched into space!

The Return of a Ghost
DC-3 used in the ’50s by the late Swissair company (now simply “Swiss”). Grounded some years ago, [it’s now] seen over the Grenchen airport near Bern, Switzerland. Photo taken with a Pentax Optio P80 camera at 1/650 sec. F 5.6, focal length 29 mm. No other modifications than re-centering and reduction of the original file under 1 MB.
