Paul Feldman Paul Feldman has been hired by the General Aviation Manufacturers Association as its vice president of government affairs. Feldman was previously at Washington consulting firm APCO Worldwide where he advised GAMA on government relations, policy and strategy. Prior to that he represented the FAA in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Ray Miller Ray Miller has been promoted to VP and GM of Universal Avionics Corp.’s instrument division in Duluth, Ga. He was most recently the general manager of the instrument division.

Bob Johnson, Group CEO of Dubai Aerospace Enterprise Holding, has retired. He held the position since 2006 and is 60.

Hawker Beechcraft has appointed Ronald King vice president and general manager of its Little Rock, Ark. completions center. He was most recently plant manager of Eaton Heavy Duty Truck in Shenandoah, Iowa.

Jerry Henry Jerry Henry is Sandel Avionics’ new Director of Sales. He was most recently Avidyne’s Senior Manager of Customer Support.

Debi Cunningham Debi Cunningham has been appointed Director of Marketing for West Star Aviation, of East Alton, Ill. She’s been with the company for six years and was most recently national sales director.

The FAA needs to be a better job overseeing airlines, according to a report issued this week by the Transportation Department’s Office of Inspector General.
