Dan Cronin Dan Cronin has been named director of sales to the U.S. Department of Defense market for SimAuthor, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Westar Aerospace & Defense Group, Inc. The company specializes in software and service products for defense aerospace organizations.

Todd Simmons Todd Simmons recently joined Cirrus Design as Vice President of Marketing. Simmons was the former president and CEO of Cubcrafters and has worked in the airline industry. He’s an active pilot and will head up the marketing team.

Jet Support Services Inc. has named Greg Hampton as sales manager for government programs. Dave Mikalauskas is tip to tail sales manager.

Kelly Linell Kelly Linell has been named Customer Service Manager at Shadin Avionics. He’s been with the company for 14 years and helped develop and support many of its products in his other roles.

Randy Fank Randy Fank has been named Manager of FBO operations at JA Air Center’s new Aurora Municipal Airport location and the existing FBO at DeKalb Taylor Municipal Airport. Fank was previously director of DuPage Flight Center.

Preston Aviation Preston Aviation has relocated its Tailwheel flight school from Leesburg International Airport in Leesburg, Fla. to Peach State Airport in Williamson, Ga. The company offers instruction and rides in a restored Stearman and Cub.
