The only way to have insurance cover an aircraft during an air racing event is to purchase very expensive hull insurance for your own aircraft. That way, if someone else damages it, you will be covered.The team does not have the budget to cover the repairs for 2017. But will try to bring the aircraft back to the circuit as soon as possible. Until then, the aircraft will be on display, in its damaged condition, at Warbird Adventures in Kissimmee, FL.Many have asked if we plan to pursue legal action against the entities involved and the answer is no.
