Had the experience as a teenager, flying in Dad’s Seabee,
belly landing on a turf runway, due to gear collapsing. Smooth as silk…short.

I have owned and flown two Sea Bee’s and loved them.
I also knew Joe Gigante who did the Twin Bee conversions.

My dad salvaged a sea bee. Removed the wings and fuselage,put snow skis on it and ran it on frozen Houghton Lake in Michigan. What a sight.
