Seattle, WA (June 28, 2019)one-G simulation welcomes two new flight schools, The Flying School and Mike Smith Aviation, into the one-G Access Program. This program places an FAA approved flight simulator at a qualified flight school on a pay-per-use basis.

The Flying School, located in Loveland, CO at Northern Colorado Regional Airport (KFNL), chose the model specific Foundation AATD (Advanced Aviation Training Device) based on the Cessna 172, matching their aircraft fleet. This provides a high positive transfer of learning, allowing them to stay true to their commitment of providing excellent and personalized flight training.

Mike Smith Aviation, located in Rancho Murieta, CA at the Rancho Murieta Airport (KRIU) was started by a husband and wife team in 2016 with one airplane and just three years later have expanded by adding a second location. They use the Access program to integrate flight simulation with their flight training curriculum. Kimberly Sanders Smith (CFI and Co-owner) said, “The Foundation has been an essential tool that has accelerated our students’ learning and understanding of flying.”

The one-G team is excited to witness the continued achievements of their new Access Partners. Dave Rider, one-G Vice President says, “The successful schools view the flight sim in the same way they view the airplane: as a training device and a revenue generator. It serves as a productive classroom, free from the distractions and safety concerns of an aircraft, where return on investment can be maximized for both the student and the flight school.”
