Rob Cords Rob Cords has been appointed StandardAero’s senior vice president of strategy, business development and customer support. He was formerly at the Oliver Wyman Group, where he was an associate partner in the aviation, aerospace and defense practice.

Blair Sullivan Andy Biller Groom Aviation has created Groom Aviation Sales to enhance its Beechcraft-oriented business. King Air sales experts Blair Sullivan and Andy Biller have joined the new company, which will specialize in Beech products but handle all types of aircraft.

Glenn Juber Glenn Juber is the new Director of Maintenance at Platinum Aviation Service at Ft. Lauderdale Executive Airport. He was previously Director of Maintenance for Flight Level in Norwood, Conn.

Henry Schachar has been promoted from President to Executive Vice Chairman of Marquis Jets. Ken Austin will take over as President. (Austin was formerly Executive Vice President.) Both have been with the company since 2001, and Schachar is co-founder.

Jason Miller Jason Miller has been appointed general manager of StandardAero’s Houston Intercontinental Airport facility. Miller has been acting GM of the facility since April.

Kenneth Weaver Kenneth Weaver has been named the vice president of marketing for Remos Aircraft. He has more than 18 years of related experience with a variety of companies.

Tann Chesley Tann Chesley is the new vice president of Skytech Inc. He is working out of the company’s new FBO at Carroll County Regional Airport in Westminster, Md.

Don Antonucci has been named chairman of the board of directors of Metron Aviation, which specializes in air traffic management. He retired in 2006 as president of Lockheed Martin.

Mark Woods Mark Woods has joined Great Lakes Diamond Aircraft Sales in charge of sales for Illinois, northern Indiana and Michigan. He previously worked for another Diamond dealer.

Barry Knutilla Barry Knuttila is now Senior Vice President of Marketing and Technology for King Schools. He’s been with King for seven years, where he’s been responsible the technology organization and development of software, technical support and other IT-related functions to support the self-study, computer and online curricula.
