Teresa Eamon, a professional vocalist, sings at the Victory’s Arsenal Stage at Sun ‘n Fun 2017 in Lakeland, Florida. Before a restorer presents their airplane to the assembled crowd, Teresa puts on a show, singing music from the airplane’s era of manufacture—in full contemporary costume and hair. Mostly, that means big-band swing music and attire from “the greatest generation,” but the occasional Korean War era jet will bring Teresa from her trailer in beehive hair singing pop songs of the early 1950s. Geoff Rapoport spoke with her at Sun ‘n Fun to learn a little more about her act and to find out how she came to be a regular on the airshow scene.
