Dennis van de Laar has been named the National Air Transportation Association’s manager of regulatory affairs. He was previously at the Southern Illinois Airport Authority as a graduate assistant while completing his master’s degree in public administration.
Woody Saland Woody Saland, formerly Dassault Falcon’s manager of technical programs, is now the manager of technical programs and pilot operations and training. He’s been with Dassault for five years.

All are long-time Gulfstream executives.
Michelle Peterson, AOPA’s vice president of products and services, has added marketing to her portfolio and has been promoted to vice president of marketing. Peterson has been with AOPA since 2000.
Philip Anderson has been named senior vice president and chief financial officer for Spirit AeroSystems. He was formerly treasurer and VP of investor relations.

Lancair has added Doug Walker to its sales staff. He’ll cover the eastern U.S. and Canada. Neal Longwill has moved from Redmond to Texas to handle the south/central area, and Chelsea Welch remains in Redmond to take care of the western U.S. and Canada.
Universal Avionics Senior Vice President Donald D. Berlin has retired. Berlin was with the company at its inception in 1982.
Aspen Avionics has hired Angela Anderson as the company’s new Marketing Manager. Anderson was formerly Strategic Business Manager at Jeppesen.
