Tim Spahr has been named the new Chief Operating Officer of GlobalJet in Scottsdale, Ariz. Spahr has more than 20 years of experience in the corporate and charter field.

Sam Slentz Sam Slentz is Universal Avionics’ new Chief Technology director. Slentz has 35 years in the industry and most recently worked for the Air Force.

Lindsey McFarren, the former Assistant General Manager, Programs for the Transportation Security Administration’s general aviation section has joined the consulting firm of Simat, Helliesen and Eichner. McFarren will be the firm’s Manager of Safety and Security Systems.

Linda Pepper Linda Pepper is Aspen Avionics’ new Manager of Customer Services. Pepper was previously at Garmin, where she began her career in 1994.

Alan Dias Angel Flight West has named Alan M. Dias as its Executive Director. Dias has been flying missions since 1993 and was previously vice chair of the board of directors.

David Kucko has been promoted to general manager at Air 51. Air 51 is a new FBO in Lexington, Ky.

Bryan Byers Bryan Byers has been promoted to Aircraft Banking Officer at 1st Source Bank. He’s been at the bank since 2001.

Mark Gibson Mark Gibson has been named vice president of sales at Sun Aviation in Kansas City, Mo. He was formerly at the Aircraft Electronics Association for 17 years.

Mike Turner Mike Turner is the new Marketing and Corporate Communications Director at StandardAero. He was formerly Corporate Communications Manager.

Robert Randall Robert Randall is Universal Avionics’ new marketing manager for the central region. He was most recently Executive Director of Sales and Marketing at Shadin Avionics.
