Join AVweb’s team at OSH ’98!
Are you an aviation enthusiast and reasonably sharp computer graphics typethat’d like an expense paid working vacation to OSH for 8-9 days? Ourgraphics guy just bailed on us as a result of a family crisis and we’dlike to have someone competent to do this work for us at OSH for our dailycoverage of the event. The job will require some actual graphics development and some scanning of various materials, but will mostly involve wading through a few hundred digital photos every day, helping to select the best, and formatting them for use on the AVweb OSH ’98 Web pages, enhancing as necessary for best presentation.
HTML and Web experience would be a big plus, as would having your own portable computer.
There will be plenty of time to wander around and see OSH, most of the work will be later in the afternoon and evening.
You must to be able to commit for the entire show starting Monday, July 27 or Tuseday, July 28 through Tuesday, August 4th.
AVweb will cover transportation to and from OSH, provide lodging (shared air conditioned hotel room at the AmericInn), cover your meals, provide you with a press pass to OSH, some AVweb shirts and a cap, and a very modest salary. If you’re in it just for the money, this isn’t the job for you.
