On top of that, the flying season has sprung with airshows starting up around the country.EAA Chapter 1195 will have its first St. Patrick’s Day Fly-In Friday through Sunday at Bud Barron Airport in Dublin, Georgia. Catch a shuttle into town Saturday for the parade, crafts fair and a car show. The chapter will also serve a free pancake brunch. EAA Chapter 977 at Cannon Creek Airpark in Florida will host its seventh annual Shamrock Fly-In Saturday, serving pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs, grilled veggies and more. Weekend-long airshows featuring national performers include the Melbourne Air & Space Show in Florida, where the U.S. Navy Blue Angels will perform along with other top acts. In Columbus, Georgia, the Thunder in the Valley Airshow will feature a variety of warbird performers including the Stearman Formation Team and theTexas Raiders B-17 Flying Fortress.
