Bombardier Aerospace announced that its Challenger 350 aircraft has been awarded Transport Canada Certification. Bombardier expects certification from the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration to be received shortly. According to Bombardier, the Challenger 350 will carry as many as eight passengers 3200 nm and cruise as fast as Mach 0.80 under optimal conditions. Power is provided by twin Honeywell HTF7350 engines, each producing 7,323 pounds of thrust. The super-midsize jet boasts a flat-floor interior and a claimed widest cabin in class with Lufthansa Techniks next generation nice HD cabin management system, allowing passengers to control the certain aspects of the cabin environment.

Bombardiers announcement went on to say that the advances in the 350 create the ultimate in-flight experience. The announcement did not specify whether this is an express warranty and whether any subsequent creation of a better in-flight experience by Bombardier or another manufacturer will result in Bombardier refunding a purchasers money or upgrading the customers 350 to again be the ultimate in-flight experience at no cost to the customer.
