 “The Waco over-under.” Jim Franklin’s turbine/propeller powered Waco UPF-7 biplane. Yes, that’s right, that’s a Cessna Citation jet engine strapped underneat the fuselage. Sitting up on the wing is Jim’s son, Kyle, who does wing walking during the performance. In test flight, the airplane went ground to 7,000 in just one minute at only 75% on both engines. |
