JETTECH announced at AEA that it will release its STC for a Garmin G700 TXi touchscreen display modification and upgrade for the Citation 500, 550, S550 and 560 aircraft fleet soon.
The new STC will allow their existing customers a special upgrade path for the G700 TXi touchscreen primary flight display, the company says.
“The G700 offers our customers a scalable and flexible display option to include a 10.6-inch display and, unlike the G600, the new modification will offer the dual display option for the first time,” said Rob Irwin, founder and member/manager of JETTECH. “The combination of these two versatile displays provides plenty of options for PFD, MFD and EIS functions.”
According to Irwin, the Garmin TXi displays are revolutionary in design and feature a clean-sheet touchscreen incorporating modern processors for faster panning, chart rendering and single-finger zoom control with a pinch-to-zoom element.
