Last week, AVweb asked whether sentences of up to five years for pointing a laser at an aircraft were reasonable.
Responses were split pretty evenly among both extremes, with 40% of those who responded saying that yes, this affects aviation (and airmen’s) safety and requires a strict deterrent and another 39% of you saying first-time offenders should get only probation.
