Each year AVweb Internet Aviation Magazine and News Service provides special online coverage of the EAA AirVenture Oshkosh airshow. This coverage, presented in a specially designed, separate section of the AVweb online mag-azine, features daily updates of all of the events, stories and pictures from the show – including live audio transmission of the Oshkosh tower during periods of arrival traffic – plus re-transmission of the local commercial radio coverage of the show itself.

In addition, many of the press conferences, including Administrator Garvey’s “Meet the Boss” session, will be pre-sented live as well. AVflash, AVweb’s popular newsletter, is published each day of the show and e-mailed to nearly 120,000 subscribers. This past year, AVweb generated more than 2.2 million total promotional impressions, including both banner and text ads, for our sponsors – NOT counting an estimated 3-4 to 1 AVflash pass-through rate. This year’s traffic is expected to be even greater still!

The AirVenture section in AVweb will remain online throughout the entire year and beyond, retaining all advertising text, links and banners. This has proven to be one of the most popular on-going sections of AVweb Internet Aviation Magazine and continues to attract a significant amount of traffic throughout the year. This will be AVweb’s third annual participation in this event.
