Tecnam at Sun ‘n Fun

Tecnam said on Tuesday at Sun ‘n Fun they will establish a new facility at Sebring Airport in Florida to serve their North American customers. The facility will provide customer service and support, demo flights for potential buyers, expanded spare-parts capacity, re-assembly for both LSA and Part 23 certified aircraft, and sales and marketing. The company will occupy a 21,000-square-foot facility already in place. Paolo Pascale, CEO of Tecnam, said the new facility is “just the start of fulfilling our ambition to set up a dedicated production facility in the USA.”

Tecnam, based in Italy, manufactures several LSA designs as well as the certified P Twenty-Ten and the P2006T light twin. The company said it will have more news to reveal next week at the Aero Friedrichshafen show in Germany.
