CubCrafters has named Ladd Klinglesmith of Four Corners Cubs as its Certified Sales Center (CSC) for the Southwest region, following the retirement of dealer Rick Bosshardt after 12 year. Klinglesmith will handle new, pre-owned and kit aircraft sales for Arizona, Colorado, Utah and New Mexico from a private airstrip near Grand Junction, Colorado.
Klinglesmith currently has a Carbon Cub UL available for demonstration flights and plans to add either a Carbon Cub FX-3 or an XCub to the demonstration fleet.
“As a natural addition to our dealer team, we’re pleased to welcome Ladd Klinglesmith—his experience and deep roots with CubCrafters and in backcountry aviation make him an ideal fit to serve both new and existing customers in the Southwest,” CubCrafters Vice President Brad Damm said.
Klinglesmith has more than 40 years of aviation experience and is a CFI-I and an A&P mechanic. His background includes work in agricultural aviation, corporate flying, air ambulance operations and jet operations. Klinglesmith has built a Carbon Cub EX-3 and currently manages Mack Mesa Airport.
“I’m honored to continue supporting CubCrafters owners and pilots throughout the Southwest,” Klinglesmith said. “My goal is to ensure customers receive the same trusted support across the Four Corners region.”
Klinglesmith was previously featured in two videos in CubCrafters’ series several years ago, 10 Years of the Carbon Cub.
