In an article about job satisfaction, the magazine reports that 49 percent of professional pilots say they’re “very happy” with their jobs, ranking them near the top on the job satisfaction spectrum. A lower percentage of police officers, physicians, lawyers, teachers and engineers say they’re happy with their jobs. Pay may have something to do with it.
